The tank uses architectural panelling with precise, deliberately placed seams, made up in soft midweight cotton-blend jersey with a broken-in surface, finished with matte gunmetal hardware and tonal bonded seam tape, and given a narrow ribbed insert where the garment needs to give. Everything else is kept quiet: stitching in a matching thread so the seams read as pressure lines rather than colour. It is cut on a women's block, shaped through the waist with a higher, softer armhole, so you get stretch that goes everywhere the pose does and stays opaque doing it. It does the job and gets out of the way.
