The short uses motion-mapped panelling with articulated construction at the joints, made up in DWR-treated wind-resistant face fabric with a matte finish, finished with contrast-texture zone breaks and gusseted joins, and given a narrow ribbed insert where the garment needs to give. Everything else is kept quiet: binding and tapes matched exactly to the body colour. It is cut on a women's block, shaped through the hip with a higher front rise, so you get chafe-free mileage and heat that leaves as fast as it builds.
