The jacket uses trail-built construction with abrasion zones at high-wear points, made up in clean midweight fabric in a standard, timeless weight, finished with ripstop overlays and reflective trail-safety accents, and given an engineered density change from the body into the trims. Everything else is kept quiet: internal taping in a contrasting warm grey, just visible at the edges. It is cut on a men's block, straighter through the waist and fuller across the chest, so you get chafe-free mileage and heat that leaves as fast as it builds.
