The tank uses layered thermal construction with a brushed insulating interior, made up in clean midweight fabric in a standard, timeless weight, finished with quilted channel stitching and a brushed inner collar, and given an engineered density change from the body into the trims. Everything else is kept quiet: stitching in a matching thread so the seams read as pressure lines rather than colour. It is cut on a women's block, shaped through the waist with a higher, softer armhole, so you get freedom through the shoulders and hips with nothing that grabs on a cut. It does the job and gets out of the way.
