The shoe uses layered, insulating construction built around a one-piece engineered knit upper over a compression-moulded foam midsole, made up in a lightweight engineered knit upper on a foam midsole, finished with a moulded external heel counter and a durable rubber outsole pad. Everything else is kept quiet: trims a half-shade deeper than the body for a subtle tonal step. It is built on a women's last, narrower through the heel and midfoot, so you get weather protection that still lets you work hard inside it. The kind of piece that quietly becomes the default.
