Warmth you can layer under. Designed around the long Sunday effort and the short sharp Tuesday one, the Men's Stratus Thermal Short is lofted enough to hold heat, thin enough to disappear under a shell — a brushed grid interior that traps warm air but still lets sweat out.

The short uses layered thermal construction with a brushed insulating interior, made up in brushed grid-fleece fabric with a soft warm interior face, finished with quilted channel stitching and a brushed inner collar, and given a clean single-needle topstitch line following the main seam. Everything else is kept quiet: all trims and hardware finished tonal to the body colour. It is cut on a men's block, straighter through the hip with a longer back rise, so you get chafe-free mileage and heat that leaves as fast as it builds. Simple, and very hard to improve on.
