The vest uses layered thermal construction with a brushed insulating interior, made up in brushed grid-fleece fabric with a soft warm interior face, finished with quilted channel stitching and a brushed inner collar, and given a clean single-needle topstitch line following the main seam. Everything else is kept quiet: binding and tapes matched exactly to the body colour. It is cut on a women's block, shaped through the waist with a higher, softer armhole, so you get a full unrestricted swing with a clean, collared look that holds its shape. It does the job and gets out of the way.
