The jacket uses motion-mapped panelling with articulated construction at the joints, made up in soft midweight cotton-blend jersey with a broken-in surface, finished with contrast-texture zone breaks and gusseted joins, and given a subtle change of knit texture across the upper back panel. Everything else is kept quiet: a single tonal woven label at the inner back neck, otherwise unbranded. It is cut on a women's block, shaped through the waist with a higher, softer armhole, so you get weather protection that still lets you work hard inside it. Simple, and very hard to improve on.
