The jacket uses layered thermal construction with a brushed insulating interior, made up in technical performance knit with a sweat-wicking, quick-dry surface, finished with quilted channel stitching and a brushed inner collar, and given a narrow ribbed insert where the garment needs to give. Everything else is kept quiet: trims in a soft off-white that lifts the body colour slightly. It is cut on a men's block, straighter through the waist and fuller across the chest, so you get chafe-free mileage and heat that leaves as fast as it builds. It does the job and gets out of the way.
